Planned Parenthood De-Funded in Indiana
Governor Mitch Daniels has signed into law a bill that goes farther to protect unborn life in the state of Indiana since Roe v. Wade legalized abortion in America. He signed the bill on Tuesday, and on Wednesday a court denied Planned Parenthood's request for an emergency injunction and restraining order against it going into effect. The bill cuts off funding to clinics whose services include abortion, and it bans abortion after the 20th week of pregnancy except in cases of substantial threat to the life of the mother. Indiana Right to Life President Michael Fichter said, "Governor Daniels has now established Indiana as one of the leading pro-life states in the nation." Read more from the Huffington Post here.
